Career guidance
Career guidance is a set of processes — from education and testing to internships and conversations with professionals — that help finalists choose their future career field.
Expected results:
• preparing finalists for a well-founded career choice that meets personal interests as well as social needs and labour-market demand;
• smoother socialisation of graduates.

Mentoring
A project that brings together successful people of Kazakhstan to support IQanat finalists and share knowledge, experience and values.
Goal: to develop key skills in a chosen field and increase the motivation of IQanat programme participants, taking into account their individual needs and interests, without direct interference in their lives.
Expected results:
• forming a socially successful personality, raising a generation of mentors from among IQanat students and building a community of professional IQanat mentors to support rural children of Kazakhstan.

IQanat Bootcamp
A two-week intensive learning programme on the IQHSB campus, focused first of all on motivating students, academic preparation and developing social and emotional skills.
The programme includes an academic part, career-guidance events, English, STEM laboratory classes, lessons on the Alash Orda and sports clubs.
Expected results:
• Higher student motivation for learning and personal development;
• Greater awareness of the opportunities available for learning and development;
• Skills development: IT projects, English, and social and emotional skills through various projects, art lessons and teamwork.

A leadership programme from inDrive (https://beginit.indrive.com/)
The project mission is to help rural students become influential social leaders who take an active part in changing the world.
Programme finalists will receive a grant from the new innovative university inVision (opening in Almaty in 2025), and 3 finalists will receive targeted grants: travel, equipment, education.
Expected results:
• Implementing social projects;
• Public speaking;
• Conducting in-depth research;
• Presenting their ideas.
Rural school students from East Kazakhstan, West Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Karaganda, Pavlodar and Kostanay regions (according to inDrive’s decision, 6 regions take part in 2023–24)

For grade 10 students
General English
In the 2023–2024 academic year the Foundation launched a project to raise English proficiency among students in grades 9–10. The key feature of the course is group classes with a teacher on a specially designed learning platform.
Expected results:
• Higher English proficiency among students;
• Readiness to start IELTS preparation;
• Self-confidence and a goal to enter universities abroad.
Learning is organised in the following groups:
Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate, Upper-Intermediate

As part of the project the following is provided:

An introductory diagnostic test is conducted

A learning programme is selected and groups of no more than 10 students are formed based on English level

Online learning takes place on an interactive platform with all study materials included, with no extra purchases required

Free access to conversation clubs held every Sunday online with a native speaker

At the end of the course students take an exam and receive a certificate for the English level they have studied
IT project
An IT course organised with the support of Astana Hub (International Technopark of IT Startups) for participants of IQanat Foundation’s post-olympiad support.
Students in grades 9–10 take part in the project.
The course covers such areas of information technology as computer literacy, No Code and Low Code.
Expected results:

• Public speaking;

• Presenting their ideas.

Information technology tracks:

Computer literacy
You will learn how to use a computer, files and the internet, and work with core computer programmes.
No prior knowledge is required.

No Code
Building a product without writing code; the course will help you understand how an IT product works.
You will learn how to create a website and a chatbot using no-code tools.
Tools used: Airtable, Make, Adalo, Tilda, Notion.

Low Code
Building a product without writing code (as in No Code), but with the option to use code for more detailed changes.
You will learn how to make a Telegram bot, a website and a mobile app.
Tools used: Directual, Creatium, AppMaster, Wappler.
